America is currently in a crisis, not an economic one, this crisis has sinister consequences. There is a slow movement that has been picking up steam recently, that movement is turning America unto a police state. Whether it’s 300,000 unmanned drones in the sky, the TSA getting more authority, or the FBI infiltrating opposition groups, a big change is coming.

Congress passed a law stating that it is a felony to disrupt any political speech or rally that is under secret service protection. During the NATO Summit, protesters were kept blocks away from the actual meeting. Freedom of speech is under attack in America. The media has largely made recent censorship seem okay. They focus on violent protesters to show their audiences that keeping protesters away is a good thing.

Read any conservative blog or website and you will see stories that make the Occupy crowd seem like a bunch of lunatics. Yes, there are violent people within the movement. The Tea Party saw some members participate in racist speech, the media was quick to say that it was a group of liberal infiltrators and not real Tea Party members. The bottom line is that within any movement there will be a fringe.

As the media continues to attack protesters as nothing more than violent thugs, they report very little on the attacks on freedom in America. Government agencies have been gaining unprecedented power in recent years. From the Patriot Act to armed raids by the FDA to prevent the distribution of raw milk, something isn’t right.

We reported yesterday on plans by some polices departments to used drones armed with tear gas and rubber bullets. Not only can these drones watch your every move, they can open fire on you if the operator feels it’s necessary.

New York passed anti-cyber bullying legislation that had a hidden agenda. Included in the bill was language making it illegal to speak negatively about politicians. Citizens of New York can no longer speak out against the governor, their local mayor, or any other elected official. The language was designed to discourage the alternative media from writing stories that portrayed officials in a negative light. Freedom of speech and press have been killed with just one law.

The FDA has been holding armed raids in Michigan in an attempt to prevent people from raising feral pigs. The FDA will either shoot the pigs or make the farmers do it. They are conducting these raids in the name of “population control”. The state has been running a huge disinformation campaign telling citizens that there is a risk of feral pigs overtaking the state. Farmers that we have spoken with have laughed at the idea. They know that the pigs pose no risk and won’t be overtaking downtown centers anytime soon.

The TSA, once an inconvenience at the airport, have been lobbying for greater authority that would take them out of the airports. Some cities have begun to see TSA agents patrolling local transit systems. The TSA has the ability to stop and search anyone that they want without reason.

The FBI has been sending operatives out to infiltrate various groups. Even the early Tea Party had agents attending meetings and rallies all in the name of collecting intelligence on this new political movement. They have since been infiltrating various Occupy groups and anarchist collectives, often times convincing members to break laws.

The FBI have infiltrated various militia groups and effectively had members arrested as domestic terrorists. These militia members weren’t breaking any laws, they just had strong opinions about the role of government. The FBI found ways to lure these members into anti-government conspiracy, succeeding in killing more government opposition.

These are just a few examples of how the government is seeking to shutdown voices of dissent. Never mind the fact that CISPA is on it’s way to President Obama’s desk for signature. The media continues its propaganda campaign to brainwash citizens to believe that they need to give up some freedoms. Americans are fed a steady stream of disinformation regarding terror threats. More times than not, perceived terror threats can be traced back to the US government. Fear is a great controller over humanity. CISPA is being touted as a step towards protecting America from cyber terror attacks. A segment of America actually agrees that CISPA is much ado about nothing. The media does its best to make increased police presence and brutality seem normal and justified. Police during the NATO Summit were often times seen using force on peaceful protesters, the media focused instead on the violent protesters. The view of many Americans is that the use of force was indeed justified given the fact that the protesters were violent.

The tone for NATO was set early as police and FBI foiled a “plot” that involved molotov cocktails and explosives. The “threat” received wide media attention, but no one asked exactly how they found out. The media reported that agents had plants on the inside who ratted out the “terrorists”. The media didn’t report that the FBI was again involved in planning the attacks. The arrests programmed Americans to view all NATO protesters as thugs.

The American government took issue when Wikileaks published US troop death tolls, those death tolls were much higher than the numbers that the US government released to the media.

The media has the task of making sure Americans don’t question what’s going on and just accept the things that happen. Alternative media is harder to control. We have seen alternative journalists threatened by police for video taping them as they walk down the street.

The government has taken over the training of many police departments and they are better equipped to use lethal force.

Kelly Thomas was well known around Orange County as having mental issues. You see in the video that the police didn’t even give him a chance to stand up or really comply. Onlookers couldn’t believe that they were seeing as more cops pulled up to join in on the kill.

A trauma surgeon has said continuous compression of the homeless man’s chest during a confrontation with police officers in California caused breathing problems that led to his death.

Thomas lost consciousness and was taken to a hospital. He was taken off life support and died five days later.

Six Fullerton officers were involved in the conflict. Two were criminally charged.

Thomas’s father, Ron Thomas, said the video showed there was no struggle while his son was on the ground being kneed by officers. He voiced frustration that defense lawyers were challenging the medics in what he said was an effort to deflect responsibility away from the officers.

There has been a major increase in police acting out against suspects that pose no threat. In Pennsylvania a teen was handcuffed in a cell and got mouthy with a police officer, that officer tased the handcuffed teen multiple times before another officer saw him and told him to stop it. The police department went on to attempt to cover up the heinous attack.

Recently even the army has begun carrying out urban combat drills in American cities. If you add the attacks on the Constitution, Bill of  Rights, and the way the media attempts to portray these things as okay and just normal, you can see that America is turning into a police state. Rights and freedoms are being stripped all in the name of Homeland Security. Government agencies are expanding their reach and powers. The country is in a legitimate crisis as the NDAA will give the government the ability to detain any American without just cause. Those who speak out against government corruption are in real danger.

Soon a time will come where Americans will have less freedoms than Russians or a communist country. The propaganda machine continues to brainwash the masses into submission. America is becoming a communist nation.
