Luke Rudkowksi, Tim Pool, Jeoff Shively, Dustin & Jess were driving home after covering a NATO protest in Chicago only to have their car raided by police.

They were stopped for no apparent reason and searched. Part of the stop went out to the world via their live stream.

According to the journalists, the police car was unmarked and guns were drawn. From what we can see in the video, there was no reason for the raid or the harsh treatment of the journalists.

In the past we have seen journalists intimidated by police for filming them. From what we can see and hear from the video, there were no threats made for filming.

What’s shocking is the lack of explanation from police as to why the journalists were being stopped and their vehicle searched. According to the journalists, twelve cars were simultaneously stopped for no apparent reason.
